My old maul needed replacing and this new maul is perfect for general purpose use. I’ll use a larger heavier maul for end punches and brass stamping. This feels well balanced and smooth to hold. The lignum vitae smells incredible. This is the one to get if you need one in the about 18-22 oz range.
