Collection: French edgers
French edgers are used to reduce the thickness of leather, particularly when skiving the edges of your work and when bringing many layers together, such as the card pockets of a wallet.

from 962 reviewsI’m back buying more, but directly instead of a retailer this time. The Palosanto Edge Beveler is an absolute game-changer!
Razor-sharp right out of the box, it glides through leather like butter, leaving the cleanest, most precise edges I’ve ever seen. The HSS-M2 blade is a dream—durable and long-lasting—and the ergonomic handle feels like an extension of my hand, perfectly weighted and stunningly crafted. This isn’t just a tool; it’s a masterpiece of craftsmanship that elevates every project. Hands down, the best beveler I’ve ever used, and I’ve tried a lot of brands.
Thank you!

Solid, well made, came very sharp, works very well even on very stiff and very soft leather.

Items arrived a lot sooner than I expected. They were sharp out of the box. I definitely will order from this company again.

The quality is amazing really looking forward on using them

I got the #0, (personally prefer a slightly less beveled look but) will def buy other widths as well in the future!

I’ve had these for a while and they are perfect. As a small-handed person, I would recommend the 36mm version unless you need a narrower blade for finer work :)

I cut out a patch of leather and engraved "The Mjollnir" on it hehehe
High quality and sweet design! Love the lignum vitae handle as well.

Haven't used it much yet but so far the best skiver l own. Arrived sharp and appears to be of really good steel.

Perfect weight for setting my leather stitching and the design is perfect.

The Palosanto edge beveler surpassed my expectations. Razor sharp out of the box! And a custom stropping block sized perfectly for keeping the razor edge. The lignum vitae handle has a good heft and feel in the hand.
I would highly recommend this beveler and any other Palosanto tool. You won't regret it.

Highly recommend, will buy the other sizes as well. The wood smells amazing

Beginner here and am really surprised by how well made this is, cutting through thick slabs of leather like a knife (well, a crazy sharp one, if more information be needed.) Only regret is that I should have gotten the 36mm version - I have small hands and was worried about not being able to control the wider blade, but apparently I was overthinking. Well, that only means another order down the road 🤷
