6mm - Good for general narrow-width work.
8mm - This is the best size.
Only by using this you can feel the best performance of the palosanto french edger.
10mm - You can work on a wide area without requiring a lot of power and skill.
If you just want to buy something wide, I recommend 10mm, not 12mm.
Purchase for a special purpose
4mm - box stitch, 45 degree cutting, Folding part(line)
12mm - It requires a lot of strength and skill. When working with 24mm, it is much faster to work 3 times with 8mm than 2 times with 12mm and the result is higher.
It is recommended to purchase only those who need 12mm.
The power and skill you need.
Assuming 4mm is 1.
4mm - 1
6mm - 2
8mm - 4
10mm - 8
12mm - 20

If you’re still using your cheap French edger from when you first started you know the frustration that comes with poor quality tools. This edger is top notch and comes highly polished and sharp. Ready to use!
French edger(5 size) - bubinga handle
Seen alot of people using this tool. And had to get my hands on it myself. Absolutely amazing quality and comes with a strop and compound!
All the tools so far have been fantastic, and I would listen to the recommendations given in the description.
This is my first french edger from Palosanto, but I had other 3 from different companies. One is ok, but not as Palosanto. Good customer service and more tools ordered.
These really are beautiful tools. Functionally, they are the best I have ever used, no question. I typically find glowing reviews to be a bit over the top, but these are genuinely worthy of high praise. In retrospect, I wish I had just sprung for these in the first place instead of buying midrange tools and upgrading them. Ultimately I would've saved a lot of money.
